In 'The Republican Teacher', Elena Moya introduces us to Valli Querol, a teacher who, after the Civil War and a long exile, returns to Morella with the hope of recovering an egalitarian society. Decades later, she faces political corruption when the mayor plans to sell the old school to turn it into a casino or an elitist center. Valli, with her fighting spirit, opposes this decision, defending honesty and justice. A metaphor of our time that explores a woman's struggle to change the course of society.
