«La maleta groga» is the children's detective novel by Ursel Scheffler, published by Edicions del Pirata in paperback (136 pages, in Catalan).
Each chapter presents a different case that Comissari Llampec must solve with the reader's help. The disappearance of a jeweler's suitcase, a graffiti in the subway, the theft of a pot of Cleopatra's makeup or a bank robbery are some of the mysteries. At the end of each story, a question challenges the reader to demonstrate their deductive ability; the solution appears encoded inside a magnifying glass and must be read backwards, with a mirror or against the light.
Third volume of the Comissari Llampec series, which brings together about fifteen short cases in each installment.
Recommended for children aged 8 and up, especially for those who resist reading thanks to its playful puzzle format.
