«La màquina dels contes» is the children's story by Carles Cano, published by Edicions Bromera in paperback (64 pages, in Catalan).
In the small village of Benipoquet, where nothing exciting ever happens, a strange story machine appears one day. The whimsical device writes stories only when it wants to and for whom it wants, and from then on all the inhabitants live in suspense over the prodigious machine and the tales it decides to create.
The work belongs to the L'Elefant collection, of which it is number 4, and includes 15 illustrations by Paco Giménez.
Recommended for young readers and for those beginning to read in Catalan.
