La Martina al país dels contes

Synopsis of La Martina al país dels contes

«La Martina al país dels contes» is the children's picture book by Gilbert Delahaye, published by Thule in hardcover (20 pages, in Catalan).

Little Martina reads a storybook in bed and, with her dog by her side, is transported to a world of fantasy. The illustrations show how the characters and settings of classic tales surround the room, blurring the line between the real and the imagined. A simple story, with text in Catalan and a cozy tone that invites dreaming.

Part of the «Martina» collection from publisher Thule. The Catalan translation is by Jorge González Batlle and Cristina Rodríguez Castillo; the illustrations are by Marcel Marlier.

Aimed at children who are starting to read or who enjoy stories read aloud before bedtime.
