«La metamorfosis de Ricardo» is the young adult novel by Víctor Batallé, published by Editorial Antártida in paperback, in Spanish.
A fourteen-year-old boy narrates the adventures of his older brother, Ricardo, aged sixteen, during the last two weeks of November in an unidentified European city. Between fights and complicity, the agile dialogue and humorous tone sustain a story about the fraternal relationship that sometimes evokes the narrative of Roald Dahl.
Published in 1991 in the La Pequeña Odisea collection. Originally written in Catalan, this edition is in Spanish. Winner of the 1989 Ramon Muntaner Prize for young adult literature.
For young readers and lovers of humorous young adult fiction.
