Synopsis of La mojigata
La mojigata es una comedia en tres actos escrita por Leandro Fernández de Moratín. La obra critica la hipocresía y la falsa religiosidad a través de la historia de dos jóvenes, Inés y Clara, educadas de manera opuesta por sus padres. Don Claudio, destinado a casarse con Inés, prefiere a Clara, quien finge vocación religiosa para evitar un matrimonio no deseado, mientras planea una boda secreta. La obra, escrita en 1791 y estrenada en 1804, es una sátira moral que refleja la preocupación de Moratín por la educación de los jóvenes y la autenticidad en la fe, comparándose con el Tartufo de Molière.
