«La Navidad» is Heather Amery's children's book about the birth of Jesus, published by Usborne in hardcover (16 pages, in Spanish).
The book introduces early readers to the biblical story of Christmas: the journey of Mary and Joseph, the birth of Jesus in a stable, and the visit of shepherds and Wise Men. The illustrations, full of detail, accompany a short, simple text so that children who are beginning to read can follow it with the help of an adult.
It belongs to the «Cuentos de la Biblia» series (Usborne Bible Tales), with illustrations by Norman Young and translation by Malihe Forghani-Nowbari; the Spanish edition was published in 1999.
Designed for children who are beginning to read, with the help of an adult, and to share with the family during Christmas.
Heather Amery is an English author and editor of children's books. Amery's body of work has been published for 50 years, from the 1970s, and has continued to be re-published and expanded into the 2020s.
