«La noia del temps» is the young adult novel written by Eva Piquer, published by Cruïlla in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
Iris, daughter of the TV weather presenter, is chosen to make the weather forecasts for her school's news show. Her predictions always come true, however strange they seem. This gift brings her closer to meteorology, but also complicates her life and confronts her with the changes of adolescence and family tensions.
It is number 76 in the El Vaixell de Vapor collection, with illustrations by Miguel Ángel Gallardo, and won the Premi El Vaixell de Vapor 1996.
A young adult read, for ages 12 and up, for those who enjoy school and humor stories.
