This book by Biruté Ciplijauskaité explores contemporary women's writing, focusing on novels written in the first person in various European countries between 1970 and 1985. The author investigates whether there is a specific and different discourse in works written by women, establishing a typology that includes historical, psychoanalytic, autobiographical, awareness-raising, and feminist novels. The study places Spanish narrative in the European context and disseminates theories related to women's writing.
