«La paraula contrària» is the essay by Erri De Luca, published by Sembra Llibres in paperback (80 pages, in Catalan).
Erri De Luca faces a possible prison sentence for defending the sabotage of the high-speed train in the Susa Valley. With this plea he responds to his prosecution and vindicates freedom of expression and the link between culture and social struggle, drawing on his experiences in 1970s Italy and the influence of Orwell and Pasolini.
Original Italian: La parola contraria. Number 12 in the Sembra Llibres collection. Foreword by David Fernández; translation by Iban León Llop.

Enrico "Erri" De Luca is an Italian novelist, translator and poet. He has been recognized by critic Giorgio De Rienzo of Corriere della Sera as "the writer of the decade". He is also known for his opposition to the Lyon-Turin high speed train line, and is being sued for having called for its sabotage. On 19 October 2015, De Luca was cleared of inciting criminal damage. He reacted to the not-guilty verdict declaring that "An injustice has been avoided."
