«La parejita. Cazadores de ofertas» is the humorous slice-of-life comic by Manel Fontdevila, published by El Jueves in hardcover (64 pages, in Spanish).
The strips portray the cohabitation of Mauricio and Emilia: sharing a home means bills, a fridge that empties, and after-dinner chats with nothing worth watching on TV. «Cazadores de ofertas» turns them into protagonists of an action scene at the supermarket. Between panels, love, sex, happiness, and the paella recipe peek through.
First volume of the Otros Ficción collection. The series debuted in 1995 in El Jueves magazine; this edition is from 2007.
For readers of slice-of-life graphic humor and newspaper strips; will also appeal to followers of El Jueves magazine.
