It is Cécile Desprairies's first novel; she is a Germanist and historian of the Occupation in France, author of «Paris dans la collaboration»; it was selected for the Goncourt Prize.
Aimed at readers of historical fiction interested in occupied France, collaborationism, the Vichy regime, and collective memory.
