«La puta feina» is the nonfiction book by Matthew Tree, published by Ara Llibres in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
The author gathers real work experiences, some his own, to offer a critical and humorous view of the world of work: from surreal job interviews to incompetent bosses, fraudulent companies, workplace harassment and unfair dismissals. The satirical and corrosive tone turns the narrative into a reflection on people's relationship with their jobs.
It belongs to the Sèrie A from Ara Llibres and features a prologue by Jordi Galceran, author of El mètode Grönholm.
For readers who enjoy satire and social criticism applied to the working world, with a light-hearted and corrosive point of view.
Matthew Tree is a writer in English and Catalan. He has lived in Catalonia since 1984.
