«La sabana» is the children's book by Franck Girard, illustrated by Claire Brenier, published by EDICIONES SM in hardcover (16 pages, in Spanish).
Turning the wheels on each page makes the images change from black and white to color, and questions appear with three possible answers; turning further confirms the correct one. Thus the child discovers the fauna of the African savanna, where the giraffe, elephant, zebra and gazelle graze while the lion, cheetah and hyena lie in wait.
It belongs to the Gira-gira collection, a series of books with animations and spinning wheels. Recommended reading age: 3 to 6 years.
Designed for children aged 3 to 6 who are beginning to discover nature; its wheel format invites touching and experimenting.
