«La segunda bandera» is a historical novel by Fernando de Artacho, published by Guadalturia Ediciones in paperback, with 198 pages in Spanish.
Set during the Spanish Civil War, it recounts an episode of the Battle of Brunete: a group of Falangist volunteers from Seville, led by their commander, defends the position of Villanueva de la Cañada against thousands of International Brigaders. The author vindicates the event, silenced for political reasons, and recovers the memory of its protagonists.
The back cover includes a profile of the author: lawyer, historian, expert in heraldry, genealogy and nobility, with around twenty published books.
For readers interested in the Spanish Civil War and in the recovery of little-known historical episodes.
