«La selva» is the interactive children's book by The Templar, illustrated by Maurice Pledger, published by Cruïlla in hardcover (18 pages, in Catalan).
The book explores the different levels of the jungle, from the ground to the treetops, and shows the animals that live in each area: clearings, understory and canopy. The pages include pop-up figures and sounds to present the ecosystem in a sensory way.
Published in 2008 in the El sons de la natura collection, translated by Núria Font i Ferré.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 9 who enjoy animals and books that combine text, sound and pop-ups.
