«La sentencia» is Santiago Castelo's poetry collection, published in 2015 by Visor Libros in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
Santiago Castelo's final poetry collection, completed shortly before his death as the crowning close of his poetic work. His verses interweave memory, time and nature; in the poem on the back cover, the lyrical voice imagines his soul wandering through holm oak and olive groves, with his name prolonged in the landscape and in the rustle of the palm.
It belongs to the Visor de Poesía collection, number 931, and was awarded the XXV Jaime Gil de Biedma Poetry Prize.
For readers of contemporary Spanish poetry interested in Santiago Castelo's final work.
