«La setta» is the thriller by Camilla Läckberg and Henrik Fexeus, published by Marsilio in paperback (768 pages, in Italian).
In Stockholm, a child disappears from a nursery in Södermalm and agent Mina Dabiri turns to mentalist Vincent Walder. The case echoes a previous tragic event, and soon other children vanish: the kidnappings follow an almost ritual pattern suggesting the work of a sect, while both protagonists grapple with their own ghosts.
Second installment of the «Mina & Vincent» series, whose original title is «Kult». Translated by Laura Cangemi.
For readers of Nordic thrillers and police mysteries with psychological tension and unsettling rituals.
