«La sombra» is the novel by Pedro Rangel Mora, published by Bohodón Ediciones in paperback (200 pages, in Spanish).
In a convulsed Venezuela, a collector of people steals others' lives to make them his own through writing. Fascinated by La Sombra, a superhero opposed to La Luz, the narrator is drawn into a story where reality and fantasy blur. It mixes crime fiction with existential reflection and addresses heartbreak and the threads of power.
First volume of the Añil collection; this is the first edition, dating from 2019.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in plots that blend the fantastic, the crime genre, and psychological introspection.
