«La sopa de l'avi» is the children's story by Mario Satz, illustrated by Albert Asensio, published by Babulinka Llibres in paperback (66 pages, in Catalan).
The story starts from an image: a grandfather and a girl sitting with their backs to the horizon, while a bowl of soup holds, according to the cover, almost all the wisdom of the world. From that everyday scene, the narrative focuses on the relationship between the grandfather and the girl and on the value of simplicity.
It belongs to the collection «Petites Joies per a Grans Lectors» and was published on September 1, 2016; the cover indicates it is the 2nd edition.
A story intended for young readers, with a short narrative and illustrations that accompany the reading.
Mario Satz is a Spanish language writer and poet. He was born Mario Norberto Satz Tetelbaum in 1944, in Coronel Pringles in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.
