«La Tània vol dansar» is a children's book by Ingrid Uebe and Ruth Scholte Von Mast, published by Timun Mas CAT in paperback (28 pages, in Catalan).
Tània wants to be a ballerina and practices in front of the mirror, but that is not enough. The horse and the bear teach her their steps; in a forest meadow she dances with the fairies and stands on tiptoe without falling once. The pictures replace the main words and the book includes a ballet glossary so children can read alone or with the help of an adult.
It belongs to the DIBUCONTES series and was published in 2003.
Aimed at a children's audience; the pictures integrated into the text make it suitable for early readers in Catalan.
