«La testa fra le nuvole» is the novel by Susanna Tamaro, published by Marsilio in paperback (219 pages, in Italian).
Stefano Giovanardi highlighted how Tamaro's overflowing imagination builds an eccentric story full of inventions, in tune with the idea of lightness in Italo Calvino's Six Memos for the Next Millennium; the novel won the Elsa Morante Prize.
1999 edition included in Marsilio's Farfalle collection; besides the novel, it contains La dormeuse électronique and Elogio della grazia, with a note by Cesare De Michelis.
A work for those interested in contemporary Italian literature and in the beginnings of Susanna Tamaro.
