La tortuga d'en Hans is a children's book written by Pere Martí i Bertran and illustrated by Carmen Queralt. The story is about a German boy named Hans, who is given a turtle from the Costa Brava. Hans is very excited to take care of the animal, but when the cold starts, the turtle hides underground to spend the winter. Hans, with a heavy heart, thinks that the turtle should return to its habitat, and convinces his parents to go on vacation to the Costa Brava and leave the animal in a reserve.
