«La vaca grassa» is the children's book by David Paloma Sanllehi, published by Combel Editorial in hardcover (24 pages, in Catalan).
It brings together four short stories featuring animals: a parrot who loses his voice, a chick who keeps repeating himself, a cow determined to slim down, and a tortoise who eats in a hurry. Humorous tales, close to the world of children, ideal for reading aloud to the little ones.
The illustrations are by Francesc Rovira Jarque. It is part of the children's collection «El cavall volador».
Suitable for children aged 4 and up; its short stories and simple language make it suitable for early readers.
David was, originally, leader of the Tribe of Judah who became the second king of the united Kingdom of Israel, according to the Hebrew Bible and Old Testament.
