«La venjança de l'Oinc» is the children's humor and adventure novel by Tosca Menten, published by Takatuka in hardcover (136 pages, in Catalan).
The story follows Oinc, a little pig, on a zany adventure mixing sausages, a forgotten grandfather, an evil butcher and the Sausage Championship of the Century. With humor close to Roald Dahl's, the narrative plays with the idea that sausages don't grow on trees and suggests seeing them in a new light.
The novel, originally published in Dutch, was translated into Catalan by Gustau Raluy and appeared in 2023. The illustrations are by Elly Hees and the work was adapted to film as Oink, oink.
For boys and girls aged 9 to 13 who enjoy stories about animals, humor and adventure.
