La vida privada de los verbos

Synopsis of La vida privada de los verbos

«La vida privada de los verbos» is a collection of short stories by José Luis de Juan, published by Alba in paperback (205 pages, in Spanish).

Stories that start from verbs such as seduce, fly, do, die, wait or return and explore private lives: a family house with ghosts every August, a child who spies on his mother, the blackboards of memory that leave fear and a young interpreter of the Goldberg Variations. Humor and an incisive gaze envelop all the stories.

First edition of 2000, number 50 of Alba's Literaria collection; edition with flaps.

For fans of the short story and contemporary Spanish narrative, with an ironic tone and sharp observations about life.
