«La visita de Osito» is the children's story by Else Holmelind Minarik, with illustrations by Maurice Sendak, published by Alfaguara in paperback (40 pages).
Osito spends the day at his grandparents' house: he plays with Grandfather Bear and listens to the memories Grandmother Bear tells him about when Mother Bear was little. In the end, Osito insists he isn't tired, but perhaps the visit has been more exhausting than he thinks.
Fourth title in the Osito (Little Bear) series, included in the Próxima Parada Prim. Lecto collection. The original, Little Bear's Visit, was a Caldecott Medal finalist in 1962.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 8, especially for early readers who accompany their first readings with illustrations.
