«L'ABCdaire de Delacroix» is the illustrated alphabet book by Collectif, published by Flammarion in paperback (119 pages, in French).
This book organizes the milestones of Eugène Delacroix's biography and output into alphabetical entries: the settings he frequented, his references, his artistic choices, his paintings, his friendships and his travels. In this way it reconstructs the environment that shaped the artist's career.
It is a collective work by Stéphane Guégan, Vincent Pomarède, Arlette Sérullaz and Alain Daguerre de Hureaux, published in the L'ABCdaire collection by Flammarion (no. 57).
For enthusiasts of art history and of Delacroix seeking a brief, alphabetical approach to his life and work.
