«Labyrinth» is Kate Mosse's historical mystery novel, published by Orion in paperback (720 pages, in English).
The narrative interweaves two eras: in 1209 Carcassonne, young Alais receives from her father a book that hides the secret of the true Grail and must protect it; in 2005, archaeologist Alice Tanner finds two skeletons in a Pyrenean cave alongside a labyrinth symbol that connects her to that medieval past.
First installment of the Languedoc Trilogy. Winner of the British Book Award 2006.
A historical mystery read with two timelines, ideal for those seeking adventure and puzzle novels set in the south of France.
