«Lágrimas por una medalla» is the testimony of Tania Lamarca and Cristina Gallo, published by Booket in paperback (288 pages, in Spanish).
Tania Lamarca, a gymnast on the Spanish team, recounts her path to gold at Atlanta 1996: the loneliness in Madrid, strict diets, grueling routines, and internal team rivalry. She also addresses the difficult re-encounter with life after retiring from elite sport, when her medals barely had value outside the display cases.
It belongs to the Biographies and Memoirs collection (No. 1), published by Booket on October 13, 2010.
A testimony for readers interested in personal growth and biographies of elite athletes.
