«Landako sagua eta hiriko sagua» is the classic children's story illustrated by Ángeles Peinador Arbiza, from Aizkorri, in paperback (16 pages, in Basque).
The tale contrasts the quiet life of the country mouse with that of the city mouse and shows how each perceives the other's world. It is a brief fable about friendship, simplicity and the differences between rural and urban life, accompanied by illustrations that support the narrative.
It belongs to the Ekilore collection from Aizkorri, dedicated to classic stories with new illustrations. First edition published on October 4, 2007.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 10; its brevity and the visual support of the illustrations make it suitable as a first reading in Basque.
