«Las calles de nuestros padres», a novel by Francisco González Ledesma (Plaza & Janés, 1984). Paperback, 288 pages, Spanish text.
A murder in a big city is the starting point: the killer acts to preserve his memories. The work follows the traces of that crime through streets and neighborhoods, where individual memory intersects with the memory of the place. González Ledesma thus builds a tale of dark atmosphere and urban background, centered on what the city keeps and what people want to preserve.
Second installment of the «Ricardo Méndez» series. The work was published in the «Novelistas del día» collection by Plaza & Janés.
For readers of Spanish fiction and followers of the «Ricardo Méndez» series, with an interest in urban stories with a dark atmosphere.

Francisco González Ledesma was a Spanish comic writer, novelist, lawyer, and journalist. He was a prize-winning crime novelist under his real name, and as Enrique Moriel.
