Las formas del querer

Synopsis of Las formas del querer

«Las formas del querer» is the novel by Inés Martín Rodrigo, published by Ediciones Destino in hardcover (408 pages, in Spanish).

Noray, after the death of her grandparents Carmen and Tomás, shuts herself away in the family home in the village to write the novel she has been putting off for years: the story of her family, tied to that of a country that goes from the civil war to the consolidation of democracy. While she evokes those lives and confronts her fears, Ismael, the love of her life, reads her account from a hospital room, in a story that explores the different ways of loving.
