Synopsis of Las Inviernas
En la Galicia de los años cincuenta, dos hermanas regresan a su hogar en Tierra de Chá tras una larga ausencia. Unidas por un oscuro secreto y su pasión por el cine, vuelven a la casa de su abuelo, de la que huyeron siendo niñas. Cristina Sánchez-Andrade is a Spanish writer and translator of partial English descent. In 2004 she won the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Prize for her work Ya no pisa la tierra tu rey. Her 2014 novel Las Inviernas was a finalist for the Premio Herralde, and in translation won two English PEN awards.
