In her second adventure, detective Precious Ramotswe faces a complicated case: the disappearance of an American on the edge of the Kalahari. In addition, Precious must deal with the promotion of her secretary Mma Makutsi, her imminent wedding to J.L.B. Matekoni, the problems caused by her maid, and the unexpected arrival of new members to the family. An exciting story that offers much more than just solving a mystery.
