«Las poseídas de Stepford» is the suspense and science fiction novel by Ira Levin, published by Debolsillo in paperback, in Spanish.
In Stepford the women are suspiciously exemplary: they always seem willing, complacent and devoted to the home. The men also act with a disconcerting uniformity. The novel piles up questions about that seamless behaviour and leads to an unforeseen ending whose message works as a clear warning.
The work was originally published in 1972 as The Stepford Wives; this Spanish edition is from 2022.
For readers of suspense, horror and science fiction who appreciate a classic with a feminist background.
