«Las ranas de Rita» is the children's story by Eduard Márquez Tañá, illustrated by Cristina Losantos, published by Ediciones SM in paperback, in Spanish.
Rita is a restless girl who can't get to sleep. Following her mother's advice, she tries counting sheep; when that doesn't work, she also tries frogs. The mix of so many animals ends in a great nighttime ruckus, in a humorous story about facing fears when night comes.
Volume 107 of the El Barco de Vapor Blanca collection. Translation by Pau Centellas of the original Catalan: «Les granotes de la Rita».
Recommended for children aged 6 to 7, in the early readers stage, who are starting to read on their own.
