«Las rosas de piedra» is a travel book by Julio Llamazares, published by Alfaguara in hardcover (664 pages, in Spanish).

Julio Llamazares travels through the cathedrals of northern Spain, which he unfolds like stone roses: buildings that hold history, art and legends. He spends a day in each building, following in the footsteps of ancient travelers, and describes their medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture along with the landscapes and people of those lands.

Originally published in 2008. First volume of the travel literature project concluded by «Las rosas del sur» (Alfaguara, 2018).
