Le baron perché es una novela del escritor italiano Italo Calvino, publicada en 1957. La historia sigue a Cosimo Piovasco di Rondò, un joven noble italiano del siglo XVIII que, tras una disputa familiar, decide subirse a los árboles y vivir en ellos el resto de su vida. Desde su peculiar perspectiva, Cosimo interactúa con la sociedad, participa en eventos históricos y desarrolla relaciones personales, todo ello mientras se mantiene fiel a su decisión de vivir en los árboles.
