«Le Chat» is the humor comic by Philippe Geluck, published by Casterman in hardcover (75 pages, in French).
The protagonist is Le Chat, a gray, anthropomorphic cat who reflects ironically on the human condition in strips of absurd humor. The album gathers his quips and comments in a tone close to the graphic gag.
First volume of the Le Chat series, originally published in 1986; the cover shows the cat with an open book and the phrase «C'est moi».
For fans of graphic humor and francophone bande dessinée, especially readers of European comics.
Philippe Geluck is a Belgian comedian, humorist, television writer and cartoonist, who sold more than 14 million albums worldwide. He studied at the INSAS. His best-known work is the comic strip Le Chat, which is one of the ten bestselling Franco-Belgian comics series.
