«A Tiny Bit Lucky» is the humorous children's novel written and illustrated by Liz Pichon, published by Scholastic in paperback, in English.
Tom Gates wants to win the Rockweekly Bandbattle music competition with his band DOGZOMBIES, but he barely finds time to rehearse: there are inspectors at school, a new cartoon series, candy to eat and a stray cat that distracts him. The story is combined with illustrations and doodles by the protagonist.
It is the seventh volume in the Tom Gates series; it was published in March 2015.
Aimed at children and young people aged 9 to 12, especially for those looking for fun school stories full of drawings.
Liz Pichon is a British author and illustrator of children's books who is best known for her Tom Gates series of "satirical realist comedy fiction", which has sold 16.5 million copies and has been translated into 44 languages across 47 international markets.
