Le ciel par-dessus nos têtes

Synopsis of Le ciel par-dessus nos têtes

«Le ciel par-dessus nos têtes» is a children's astronomy book by Diane Costa de Beauregard and Catherine de Sairigne-Bon, in paperback and in French.

With interactive pages, the book brings astronomy closer to children: a rotating chart to identify stars and constellations, pop-ups of the solar system, the far side of the Moon and a journey through nebulae and galaxies. It also includes elements to play with the depth of the sky and understand the distance of celestial bodies.

The book was originally published in 1993 in the Les Racines du savoir collection by Gallimard Jeunesse. It has 47 pages and illustrations by Pierre-Marie Valat.

Aimed at young astronomers from age 6, although its observation resources can accompany them into adolescence.
