«Le Crime des pères» is a novel by Michel Del Castillo, published by Points in paperback (294 pages, in French).
The author reconstructs a story lived at the end of his adolescence in Huesca, marked by enigmas he never managed to resolve. With a narrative that oscillates between novel, investigation and testimony, it explores identity, memory and the weight of family secrets, without being a biography or a book of memories.
Originally published in 1993, it won the Grand Prix RTL-Lire; this edition is number P198 in the Points collection.
For readers of contemporary French fiction interested in memory, identity and autobiography.
