«Le maître des étoiles» is a collection of stories about cinema by Collectif, published by Fleurus in paperback (191 pages, in French).
Six short stories with cinema as the common thread: the mysterious power of the «maître des étoiles» over the stars of the Moghul studios, a shoot with zero budget, a mother determined to make her daughter the great star of Hollywood, an investigation on a movie set, and a young fan willing to do anything to get close to her idol.
Published in 2001, it is part of the Z'azimut collection; each story is between twenty and thirty pages long.
Recommended for readers aged 9 to 12 interested in cinema and short fiction.
