«Le Phare à pas comptés» is a children's book by Jacqueline Corniolo and Christine Corniolo-Baillot (Editions Millefeuille): hardcover, 32 pages, in French.
A French tale that invites counting while climbing towards a red-striped lighthouse: on the cover, large colored digits coexist with a seagull, a sheep and an insect. The text starts from the rhyme of the p'tite bête qui monte and offers a playful journey to the top of the lighthouse, with a humorous twist.
The book belongs to the «Patrimoine maritime» series and was published on July 22, 2010; it measures 18 × 18 cm and weighs 209 g.
Designed for children aged 0 to 3, it introduces numbers and the world of the lighthouse through animal illustrations and large colored figures.
