«Le renne du père Noël» is the children's story by Méli Marlo and Pawel Pawlak, published by Milan Jeunesse in paperback (24 pages, in French).
Carillon is a little reindeer who dreams of pulling Santa Claus's sleigh, though flying is not his strong suit. He asks the geese for help, and they lift him into the air before letting him fall. The mishap brings him to Santa just when he needs a reindeer for his sleigh, and so Carillon gets his wish.
The title is part of the Milan Benjamin collection and the early-reader series «Je sais lire !».
Recommended for children aged 6 to 8 who are beginning to read; a Christmas story with colorful illustrations.
