«Le retour d'Ulysse» is the children's mythology novel by Hélène Kérillis and Homère, published by Hatier Jeunesse in paperback (50 pages, in French).
Twenty years after leaving with the Greeks for the Trojan War, Ulysses tries to return home; the big question is whether he will manage to reunite with his wife Penelope and his son Telemachus. The work, adapted by Hélène Kérillis from Homer, is organized in short chapters designed for those beginning to read alone.
The book belongs to the collection Ma première mythologie (no. 7) from Hatier Poche, with illustrations by Grégoire Vallancien.
It is aimed at children aged 6 to 9 who are starting to read, especially early elementary school students who want to read a classic story on their own.
