«Le réveil des Bleus» is the humorous comic by Daniel Fernandes and Edmond Tourriol, published by Hugo BD in hardcover (40 pages, in French).
The work satirically reviews the preparation of the French national football team ('les Bleus') for Euro 2016: scandals, nights out and the pressure to emulate Platini and Zidane. The team tries to leave behind the Knysna failure and take advantage of playing at home, in a story that unfolds between dressing rooms, buses and media spotlights.
The script is by Edmond Tourriol and Daniel Fernandes, the drawings by Albert Carreres and the color by Jean-Baptiste Merle. The French edition was published on June 9, 2016.
For football fans and fans of European satirical comics looking for a critical and humorous look at the French national team.
