«Le Saut de l’ange» is the biography written by Maud Marin, published by Fixot in paperback (285 pages, in French).
It tells the true story of Jean, a child who doesn't fit in: he avoids boys' games, secretly dresses as a girl and wants to be a woman, with a female body and name: Maud. His life as a student, cross-dresser, prostitute and transsexual is marked by blows, cold, fear and some tenderness.
First edition in 1987. In libraries it is catalogued under biographies and documents about transsexual people.
For readers looking for a real and personal testimony about transsexuality.
