«Leemos paso a paso» is the educational book by Amèlia del Castillo and Silvia Pla, published by Salvatella in paperback (112 pages).
It proposes a gradual path: letters and their relationship to sounds, syllables, and then complete words, to avoid spelling out. It introduces sentences close to childhood, poems to recite, and reading comprehension games, with activities in uppercase and cursive script. The final goal is reading with understanding, not just mechanics.
First edition published in 2013 by Salvatella. The cover subtitle is «Con letra mayúscula y cursiva».
Aimed at children beginning to read and teachers looking for classroom support material.
